Not only was her face red from the slap but the corners of her lips were bruised.

Sage's grip accidentally ripped Yeva's wound causing her to flinch in pain. Pushing away Sage's hand, Yeva hissed, "None of your business!"

Sage would be more than glad to leave her alone. Leaning against the door, she looked calmly at Yeva, who was throwing a tantrum.

Yeva was glaring furiously at Sage with her reddened eyes.

"It's all your fault! If you didn't humiliate Julian in front of everyone earlier, he wouldn't have been this upset, and he wouldn't have hit me."

Touching her left cheek, Yeva still felt the burning pain.

Earlier when Julian had spent nearly a fortune on Sage, Yeva was fuming with jealousy. Once the auction had ended, Yeva had started whining and sulking in hopes that Julian would comfort her. However, instead of comforting her like he normally did, he slapped her across the face.
