Chapter 68 Searching for Someone

At first, she was stiff all over. She wished she could bury her face in his chest so people wouldn't recognize her.

As time passed, she gradually relaxed and allowed herself to lean against his chest. She thought to herself, "They can look all they want!"

He was her husband anyway. What was there to be embarrassed about?

The several fights from earlier had truly exhausted her, given that she missed lunch too. When the tension left her body, her muscles were beginning to ache. She felt light-headed.

Fatigue overwhelmed her, and at that moment, she was grateful that she was in a wheelchair.

As they exited the nightclub, Andrew popped up with a pair of familiar high heels. His forehead was covered with a simple layer of gauze. "Hannah! I brought you your shoes!"

Thank goodness he had sharp eyes and quick hands. Even through his dizziness and nausea, he had instantly spotted Hannah's shoes and brought them with him.

Otherwise, Hannah would have had to go barefoot!
