Chapter 15: A pervert

Three days had past and Matilda had been miserable, drowning in boredom and loneliness. Her room was dark and messy, everything had worked against her and she was partly depressed for those three days, except she wanted to live. At least if she must die she must see the bright part of life first.

Today, she had decided to return to her part time work at the bar, Kim had called several times but she never answered nor returned her call. Marcus her boss was probably very mad at her now. He must hate her by now. She dragged her feet lazily as she began to clean up her room. She needed money to feed at least. Once she was done she grabbed her waste bag to dispose in the general refuse bin. The moment she opened her door, two panting dogs and Edward the Graham's house steward, greeted her.

"Good morning Miss Matilda," he greeted with a forced smile plastered on his face, Matilda returned the fake gesture, then her face squeezed into a frown as she looked down on the dogs.
