Chapter 32: Your heart

Matilda tucked in her lips hearing his words, the tip of her fingers sweating from being nervous. She didn't wait for the situation to get any more tense so she took a spoonful and fed him which he allowed. He decided to give her a break, he could hear the sound of her heartbeat, for a moment he thought it would explode from within if the tension he was putting her under wasn't eased.

They were done with the dishes now and Andre had helped her take out the dirty plates into the kitchen.

"I really enjoyed myself. You were awesome. Now I'm thinking of firing my chef." He teased which they both laughed too.

"Right offer at the wrong time. I'm just okay being jobless and earning good money from you." She waved him a smile which he reciprocated. He leaned on the door frame as he watched her arrange the dishes in the sink getting ready to wash them. He strode towards her till he was standing behind her, Matilda stilled feeling his presence.
