The moon soon replaced the sun, along with stars that dotted the now dark sky, which had quickly faded away, from a beautiful purple colour. The shade of purple had reminded October of Alistair's eyes, so did the pitch black that it now had.

"Somewhere out there, Alistair and his family are killing prisoners for their blood. Innocent or not, they are still people." October sighed, looking away from the window, then a chill ran down her spine.

October hadn't slept last night. She was on edge for some reason, and with that, she never thought that she would miss Alistair.

Her mind was still reeling from what had happened a few days ago. She knew that when Alistair got back, he would be out for blood. She shook her head, trying to keep the thoughts out, but still feared what he would do when he returned and heard what happened. An uneasy feeling now crept through her chest.
