Forgiving never forgetting

Xander's POV…

That night he returned home late and when he did, he found her in the kitchen making dinner. The knot in his chest tightened when he noticed that she had put on his clothes and she smiled at him, taking him by surprise.

'What are you plotting?' he questioned, looking at her with suspicion.

The last time he had seen her, she was screaming her lungs out at him and now everything had suddenly disappeared?

"Hey," she greeted him and he ignored.

This is the greeting that should have woken him up this morning and yet she had chosen to disgrace him instead. Now it was too late. Nomatter how much she tried to be nice, she couldn't undo what she had done.

He made his way to the bedroom, took a shower then came out dressed in his pyjamas.

'I'm not going to eat her food', he told himself as he took a seat on the bed, switching on the tv.The truth was he was famished. He had gone to a restaurant to have dinner there but for some reason had failed to get past the first bite. Still
