Shaken...

Helena's POV…

The next day she woke up expecting to find herself in bed with him but smiled when she was alone on the couch. Thank God the message had finally gotten through and he was now staying away.

Had he not kidnapped her, she probably would still be caught up in emotions trying to figure out what to do about Roselyn and this decision to part with him would sting a little. It was good that he had shown her his true colors and had assisted her by forcing her to be here.

Right now, her mind was made up and if she turned out to be pregnant, she was going to raise his baby by herself.

She thought more about what her next step should be. For starters, she couldn't afford to lose her temper again like before. If she wanted to increase her chances of escaping this maniac, she needed to pretend as much as possible to be tolerant and understanding.

He had after all saved Lexy, which meant it had paid off and she knew that if she continued this way, she might have a chance at convinci
