After the call ended, the door of the clinic also slide open. The doctor finally went out after almost an hour of waiting and I greeted him. "Doc, how's my friend?" I asked in a worried tone.

"He's doing better now." the doctor said with a smile on his face. "We already stopped the bleeding and put pain reliever to ease his excruciating pain. You can visit and talk to him now."

"But there were no other complications, right?" I insisted. "I mean, my friend is a rugby player and he is the brain of our team. We can't afford to get him out of the picture."

The doctor nodded to his nurses, telling them to head out first. "Well, considering how deep the wound is, he can't play for about a month or two. But he can still play once it completely healed. It's just a wound, kiddo. Nothing to worry about him."

He then clapped my shoulder and left the clinic along with the rest of his nurses. Right after that, I went inside to check on Jackson.
