Ethan and Aiden exchanged glances again. Someone already told me about those men in masks who were turning humans into monsters but I did not get the chance to focus on them.

"You can't tell them if you don't want to Aiden," Ethan said while carrying Roger's unconscious body.

"But I was hoping you can tell us more about them so we could put an end to their wrongdoings, Aiden," I said with a smile on my face. "You can tell us some other time. Got it?"

"You have to trust us, Aiden," Jackson added. "I was supposed to go after you because of what you did to me. I mean, look at me now. But Melvin stopped me from seeking revenge."

"We're so sorry about that," Aiden uttered. "We'll, it was clear as day that it was not my fault you got that wound. You tried to save this bastard."

"Enough!" Ethan cut them in. "It's already late for the blaming thing. Just give us your bank account information so we could send you the payment for your hospital bills."
