Bargaining

Jackson suddenly grabs a piece of paper and pen from his backpack and jotted down something. Then, he glances at Karen before he slides the piece of paper to my desk.

"That is my suggestion regarding the case," he uttered without letting go of his glare from Karen who is seated at the front row

As soon as I manage to read what was written on the piece of paper, my eyes could not help from dilating, and realized the reason Jackson chose to jot it down instead of including it in our verbal conversation.

He doesn't want Karen or the rest of the werewolves around us, especially Jelian and Julian, to hear it. Speaking of Julian, he was busy talking with our human classmates but I know he was eavesdropping on the conversation.

"Are you kidding me?" I blurted out before I roll the piece of paper like a tiny ball and throw it to the floor behind us. "I can't do that, dude." I insisted. "what if I get caught?"
