Memories of Their Past

Jared pushed the door open; the dress was still there, hanging eerily in the closet. Suddenly, the room started to groan, and the door slammed shut behind us. There was a chill in the air, and I could hear footsteps approaching us.

It was then that we saw her—a ghostly figure who looked like the woman in the wedding dress that Francisco had seen earlier. She hovered towards us, and everyone felt a shiver down their spine.

"What are you all doing here?" the apparition said.

As everyone was getting terribly scared, I dared pointed the rays of my flashlight heading to the woman's face. She immediately blocked the rays of the light with her bare hands.

Even so, I managed to see her face. She was the old woman who gave us the keys earlier.

"You students are bitches." she uttered a profanity. "Get back to your respective rooms before I'm gonna charge you all with trespassing and noise complaints."
