Everyone sat around the table for dinner. Nicholas was back from work but we were not on talking terms, because of our previous fight.
As everyone dug into our food to eat, a voice made us pause.
"Good evening everyone" a cheerful voice greeted.
We all turned to find Jenny smiling.
"You came right on time Jenny, it's been a long I saw you" Nicholas's mom smiled at Jenny.
"You should come join us" Nicholas's mom invited and Jenny obliged, sitting right next to me while a maid served her meal.
