Chapter Forty-one

" Thank you, Cole." I whimpered.

As I continued out of his chambers, I felt the tears that I had been holding back all the while, roll down my cheeks.

Falling in love with someone and having them live your life, was harder than I thought.

I was able to drive myself to a hotel. There I spent the night, that way I could stave off any questions from my mom regarding my returning home that night after I had called to tell her I won't be coming back. I also needed to be alone and drink myself to sleep.

I had ordered a bottle of whiskey and it was brought to my room in a jiffy.

I sat by the corner of my bed and began drowning my sorrows in alcohol. once I sipped the last drop of whiskey in the bottle, I felt someone's presence in the room and slowly turn from the floor where I sat. Our eyes met and wearing his cute smile that lights up the room, he gazed at me.
