5. Gorgeous Man

"Are you happy now? You've ruined our entire lives; you must be over the moon," he yelled, causing Olivia to shiver in fright because she had never seen her father so angry before.

"Dad, why would you say such a thing? I didn't ruin anyone's life. It was my life that was ruined. He killed our baby.

He killed my baby. He is a murderer, and you both are letting him go, Scott-free,"

Olivia yelled, tears streaming down her face. But all she got in return was a scoff from her parents.

"If the baby is dead, then let it die! How dare a bitch like you blame Mike? Do you even know who he is? He doesn't want the baby, so it's only best for the baby to die," her dad responded, snarling at her.

Olivia's eyes widened, shock coursing through her as if she had been struck by electricity.

Her stomach churned as she struggled to comprehend what her dad had just said, clutching tightly to her Tommy.

She couldn't believe her own father would utter such words. The baby was going to be his first grandchild, for crying out loud.

It was her baby, and she loved it, despite Mike's feelings. But they had taken that chance away from her. And now her dad said this?

Redness filled Olivia's eyes as tears choked her voice.

"The Huxleys were willing to help build our company to its highest point, but you ruined everything.

They're going to pull out their investments, and our company is going down the drain once again.

Why can't you think about us for once before taking such a stupid step?" her father snapped, anger blazing in his eyes.

"I did nothing wrong. Nothing was wrong with our relationship. He told me our relationship is over because my boobs and ass aren't big enough to satisfy him. Why don't you both get it?" Olivia screamed, her chest now hurting.

It felt as if a sharp knife was piercing through her heart, but she didn't let them see her pain.

"Your boobs and ass are not large enough? Why didn't you have an enlargement surgery? There are many ways to increase your body's assets to make you look beautiful and sexy. Why didn't you do it?" her mom suddenly asked, a menacing tone in her voice.

"Do you know how much debt we are in, all thanks to you? I don't care if you didn't commit such an act, but don't you even know how to keep a man?

I regret picking you up that day," her mom yelled, causing Olivia's world to come crashing down.

Had her typically Christian mother really just said those things to her? All for the sake of monetary objects? Olivia realized that her parents' true colors were showing, and it shattered the illusion she had of them.

This was the reality of her parents, the harsh truth she could no longer deny.

Money and appearances mattered more to them than their own daughter's well-being.

As the weight of their words settled in, Olivia realized that the love and support she had hoped for from them would always be out of reach.

Feeling a mix of disappointment, anger, and heartache, Olivia knew she had to find her own strength, her own way forward.

She couldn't rely on her parents for validation or love. She had to fight for herself and reclaim her worth, even if it meant breaking away from the family she thought she knew.

"You are right, Cynthia. We thought we should bring her up because she was really beautiful and might be helpful in our lives.

But she turned out to be a disaster. It was no wonder she was abandoned. She's a sin and bad luck," her dad snarled, mocking her with his gaze.

Olivia felt a lump forming in her throat as she tried to process the cruel words coming from her parents' mouths.

"A child with my blood in their veins won't be so worthless, stupid, shameless, and ignorant.

From now on, Livia, you are no longer an Anderson. You are just a random street child who has no family and no surname," her dad announced, determination in his eyes.

"You also don't dream of having an inheritance or getting a single cent from us," her mom added.

Olivia sighed as she snapped back to reality and took a step forward, entering the house that was adorned with gold.

The grand gate was made of white gold, and the yard was filled with rare species of flowers.

If the Huxleys were regarded as the richest, then the media needed to visit this personal estate belonging to the Collymores.

The scent of freshness filled her nostrils, and Olivia couldn't contain her excitement as she continued walking through.

She reached the living area, and the sheer luxury of the place overwhelmed her.

It was a hundred times larger than her room in the Anderson mansion, which was just the size of an average family's living room.

Her eyes scanned the room and landed on a business magazine resting on the central table – D'Huxley, Mike's company's magazine.

Her face froze, and just then, she heard a chuckle from behind.

"Thinking too much about the past won't change the events that have already occurred. Think less of the past and predict more of the future," a voice resonated through the room.

Olivia turned to see Darls, dressed in a black robe. His damp hair glistened, and the upper tie of his robe was undone, revealing his toned abs and chest.

He looked dangerously attractive, with his golden skin glistening and a rosy hue on his cheeks. Olivia couldn't help but let her eyes wander down to his lower body, feeling a rush of desire confusion.
