"Are you being serious right now?" Mike asked as we made our way to the cafeteria to get lunch. I had just told him about everything that had happened yesterday about mom waking up but I excluded the fact that Davion had actually drove me home afterwards.

Mike was a friend that I had made at the office. He was the only one who had taken the bold step to talk to me despite all the news flying around. He had also driven me back home before and we always spent our free hours together.

He was a sweet soul and I liked the fact that he never judged me. He always made sure that I was never bullied and tries his utmost best to take care of me. He treated me like his little sister and I did the same as well. I saw him as my confidant and the brother I never had. And although he was a very nice person, we had only known each other for a couple of weeks and I didn't think it was nice to go through all the details so I left it like that.

"Of course I am serious." I chriped happily, takin
