Chapter 33

Drake walked into the house, he had just arrived home that evening.

“Welcome darling” his wife greeted him. Nathan also came running to hug him. But Vanessa never showed up as she usually did.

“Have you seen your daughter Vanessa?” his wife asked him, since he never inquired.

“What happened to Vanessa?” He showed his concern suddenly.

“She would not even say a word to anyone, let alone eat something” her mother informed.

Drake ran to her room immediately after hearing the message.

He knocked on the door and waited for a reply from the being inside.

“Go away dad,” Vanessa replied from inside.

“So you won't talk to me too?” Drake inquired.

The door opened shortly after he had said that, revealing Vanessa behind itself.

She had many tears in her eyes that ruined her light makeup.

“What happened to your baby?” Drake asked as the fright of her face had caught him. The black eyeliner she had applied to her eye line had floated down her eyes to form a pool on her cheeks.
