Giselle's POV.

I ran out of my office immediately and hung up the call. I rushed to the hospital in my car.

Donald wasn't in the country, so he asked for my help instead. His mother got hurt when she was on vacation in the countryside.

But she was rushed to their family hospital in the city after she was attended to with some first aid treatment.

I didn't know the reason why I was panicking for someone that hates my guts. I guess I could say I was still in my soft girl era.

I had a lot on my plate already. I shouldn't add another thing to it.

The traffic was bad enough that I almost got out of my car. I got to the hospital after some time.

I got down from the car, and rushed inside. I started dialing Donald's number while working towards the ward, but he didn't pick up.

I got to the front desk inside the ward. “Good afternoon, nurse,” I greeted. “Morning ma'am, how may I be of service to you?” the lady in her late twenties asked politely.
