Chapter 40:Give me another chance, to make it real (Part One)
Alpha Christian P.O.V
"Ha...," she cries out as she lowers herself.
"Accalia," I call her worriedly; as I swiftly sweep her off the ground and held her tiny body within my arms, bridal style.
She wraps one of her arms around my neck as I did and gently rests her next hand against my strong, broad chest. Her dark brown eyes stare sadly within my eyes as she did. I stood still staring back at her as the moonlight shines brightly down on us. Melancholy, she gently removes her beautiful eyes away from me, staring into the dark. It pains me so bad seeing her so sad and that I was the cause of it.
"I'm used to pain, Christian, you don't need to keep on carrying me," she said sadly to me.
The terrible pain within me grew stronger; hearing what she had said.

I slowly moved my head sideways and saw that Christian was still within the room. He stood still not too far from me gazing at me as if he was lost.
