It was during Mr Jones's afternoon lesson that the boys saw each other, again. Jake had heard the boy was back and of course, he was unhappy about it. Fay walked into the study room that afternoon, smiling, he was excited about seeing Jake again for the first time in two weeks. Klein attacked, aiming for Fay's neck but the boy bent backwards and the sword went without touching him, Fay attacked Klein and the man defended. Their swords clashed together and Fay pushed his sword, the man was strong and he did not move. He wondered why the animal was all alone in the woods, he wondered where the parents were. But it did not matter, he was out to hunt, it was just an animal. That was what Hank kept telling himself as he made his way to the fawn. He got to where the animal was standing, with only a tree separating them. He did not want to do it, he felt bad killing the animal, but he knew he had to do it. He ran out from behind the tree and made for the fawn, the animal made to run but he bounced on it.
