CHAPTER 94

Alex was holding a glass of vodka while looking outside the long window that could overlook the fields, down to the bridge and the lake. He was in the drawing room, replaying the previous day's incident in his head. The sun hadn't risen when he stood there to think. He was now alone. He had sent Bagdana away, although he couldn't tell when or where or how he left. Now, Selena has gone away and he thought he would be torn apart by loneliness.
