"This isn't how I expected you to act." Krepe sat on the couch next to the fireplace beside which Charlotte stood, fuming. When he heard how she had kidnapped Selena, he was happy that his plan was going in place and he had sent Ethan and his men over to Forester so that they would have destroyed the Kingdom before his arrival. He knew how Alex would be so worried about Selena and will surely go to search for her. But somehow, his plans had gone down the drain all because his daughter had been a fool.

"How did you expect me to act?" Charlotte asked.

"I thought I wanted to do this on my own. But somehow, I had this feeling that you must have planned everything."

Krepe sighed and he wished he'd been hard on her for a long time. Twice in one day, something had gone wrong. His relationship with his accomplice and friend, and now, his daughter. He would have to work on those faulty relationships.

"Actually, I decided to get to Alex through another route, so I used who he loves most."
