Amelie's POV.
"Hey, get up, your leg is blocking the road. This bus passenger is having difficulty walking because of your right leg."
I was surprised to hear an old woman's voice as well as clapping her hand on my arm. Both of my eyes opened perfectly immediately.
An old woman in a cream-colored knitted cardigan stood in front of me. Her brown eyes stared intently at me. Judging from the expression on her face, she seemed to be waiting for my answer.
"Wh--why am I on the bus?" I looked around, making sure I was in a moving vehicle.
"Aw, young people nowadays get drunk on the bus." She then continued walking.
My eyes looked in the direction the old woman had gone. Her hair had turned white, only a few strands remained black.
In her hand was a medium-sized brown hand bag. She walked all the way to the front, then sat in the second seat behind the driver.
I looked outside, my eyes suddenly opened wider than usual. This road is too far, I have missed stop number four where I was supposed to get off.
"Sir, can you stop the bus?" I stood up, then said with a little shout. "I should have gotten off at the previous stop, but I fell asleep. Sorry, can you turn around?" I asked continuing.
All eyes were on me now. Both passengers sat in the front or at the back, while the bus driver only looked at me through the mirror he always used to look behind him.
There was silence for a few moments. In that moment I realized that what I was doing now was truly embarrassing.
"You're on the bus, can you really tell a taxi to stop or turn around anywhere?! Get off at the next stop! Whose fault is it that you fell asleep!"
A man in a black suit shouted at me. This suddenly made me speechless.
I sat back down, my eyes looking outside the bus as the day was getting late.
Ninety minutes passed, finally I was back at stop four. I got off the bus with unsteady steps.
"At least when he comes home I'll come to Venus Bar." I exhaled roughly.
The sound of music sounded as I entered the place. Lights of various colors shone here and there, occasionally hitting my body.
I looked right and left, checking every man who was here. Several men appeared to be chatting with their colleagues or partners.
A man wearing a white shirt and black trousers sat with his back to me alone. I smile.
"Sorry for the long wait, I just--"
"You, you, you, I told you don't come to me! I don't want to hurt you, so I'm the one like this now. Do you understand that?!"
I nodded my head, apparently the man in front of me was very drunk. His old-looking face with a thin, unkempt mustache under his nose made me unsure if he was the man I was looking for.
Instead of getting into more trouble, I chose to move on immediately. Suddenly I felt his hand holding me. I turned around, seeing the man who remained sitting looking in the same direction.
"Don't mind me, go away. You have the right to be happy with him, leave me alone here to feel the pain of every wound I have."
Slowly his grip began to stretch. When his hand completely left me, I immediately moved away.
From end to end, I still haven't found the man. I sat on one of the chairs, then reached into my sling bag looking for my smartphone there.
Entering social media, I looked for the account. After finding it, I looked at the contents of the account.
"No profile, no posts, how do I know what he looks like." I exhaled. "Eh, this is a new account, right?" The date on the account was written a week ago.
My eyes were diverted from the smartphone, I looked back around believing that he was still here.
The new account which turned out to be empty and didn't contain anything made me even more curious. Entering the chat room, he didn't read my message, he wasn't even active since an hour ago.
"Sorry I'm late, something happened on the way."
I typed the short message, then sent it. At least I don't feel too guilty for apologizing.
Even so, I still haven't given up and am sure that he is still around here. My eyes returned to the man in the white shirt at the end of the table. My heart is very sure that he is the one.
Moreover, he was already very drunk. Most likely, while he was waiting for me, he kept drinking non-stop.
"He is back."
The wolf in my heart said so, but I didn't immediately believe it.
Getting up from my seat, I looked back at the people coming to the bar. Whether they were sitting or dancing enjoying the music, I walked in front of them, maybe one of them recognized me as the woman they were supposed to meet tonight.
None of them recognized me. I left the bar, sat at the bus stop and got back on the bus that would take me home now.
"I ruined plans tonight." I whispered, then sat on one of the benches near the window.
My eyes looked outside, paying attention to what the bus was passing by. While I was thinking, I suddenly remembered a nightmare that happened to me a few hours ago.
The pain, tightness, extreme sadness is heart-wrenching. Even though it was just a dream, it felt so real that I could still feel the pain even when I was no longer asleep.
Fifteen minutes later I was off the bus. I stepped back into the house. Matilda is seen sitting on the sofa while enjoying her pizza.
"You just got home, Amelie? Did you work overtime today?"
I nodded my head weakly. "Yes." Lie.
"You seem very tired. I bought pizza on the way home, eat it."
"Aren't you working the morning shift today?"
Matilda nodded without looking at me again. "I went out to the bar earlier, then came home to buy pizza."
"Why are you going to the bar? You don't usually go there."
"Just want to."
My forehead frowned at her answer. I feel like something strange is happening to Matilda right now.
Even though her beauty could tempt some men, she didn't usually go to crowded places. If a guy asks her out, she prefers to visit a park, lake, beach or other relaxing place instead of a bar.
Of course I thought something different happened to her. She even said that if she went there, it meant she intended to go, not by accident.
"Who did you ... meet at the bar?"
Amelie's POV. I took a slice of the pizza on the table, then fed it into my mouth without washing my hands first. Disgusting, that's what, but I don't care how many germs enter my body. The taste of this pizza remains the same, delicious, very delicious. Matilda never makes a mistake when buying food. All the food she bought always tasted delicious. "Friend." She answered simply. I was silent, in my heart I didn't believe her words. Even so, I still nodded my head pretending to believe her words. The smartphone in my sling bag rang, I could hear it even though the sound was soft. Likewise with Matilda, she turned her head slightly towards me, looking out of the corner of her eye. I got up from the chair. "I'm tired, I want to rest." "Clean yourself first, then rest." I just responded with a nod of my head. This not so neat room was still dark, I turned on the light so I could see around. Blankets that haven't been folded anymore, pillows that aren't in their place and bed s
Matilda's POV. Gwendolyn's birthday party last night was so tiring that I fell asleep for a long time. Leaving the room, I still haven't seen Amelie, maybe she's still asleep. I took the little remaining chicken soup. Glancing at Amelie's bedroom door, I didn't intend to finish it. It's just that after that I saw several cans of sardines in the cupboard. "She can eat sardines later." I said, then reheated the cold chicken soup. While I was eating dinner, I heard the sound of the bedroom door opening. My guess was right, the lazy Amelie had woken up from her sleep. She sat next to me, put her smartphone on the table and we chatted for a while before she finally went to heat the sardines. Her smartphone lit up with an incoming message. I can't see who sent the message. "There's a message on your smartphone, Amelie." "Just leave it, I'll be done in a minute." The smartphone screen turned off again and I went back to enjoying the chicken soup that I had left. Amelie sat back dow
Matilda's POV. Entering the room, I collapsed on the bed. It feels more comfortable to spend the night in bed than in nightlife places. Is there anyone like me? I don't know why people can enjoy meeting lots of people, while I'm not comfortable with that. Every person is different. In a dark room, I took out my smartphone and turned it on. Rexton still hasn't contacted me, maybe he's still having fun with some friends. "Does Levin have social media?" I selected the search symbol to search for an account. "You should have one, who nowadays doesn't have a social media account?" For a while I waited for the loading time of the search. A few seconds passed, the results started to appear. There are many Levin names that I found. The number of accounts with that name reaches thousands. This will be very difficult. Actually, this is just my fault. I just used his nickname, not the long name that people like me usually use on social media. "Oh my gosh, I forgot his name," I said soft
Matilda's POV. I nodded, then got up from sitting. Entering the room, I immediately took the smartphone which was being charged. I didn't want to disappoint Rexton by letting him come here without me welcoming him. Therefore, I intend to send him a message. "Good morning, Babe. Mama took me to the market this morning, you come at ten o'clock when I get home. See you later." I took a knee-length green dress from the cupboard, I also took a white smartwatch that I just bought a few weeks ago and white flat shoes. Before leaving the room, I took the time to look in the mirror, style my hair and apply cherry red lip balm to my lips so that I looked fresh. I chose a perfume with a cheerful scent, then sprayed it at several points so that the fragrance could spread and last long. Standing in front of the mirror looking at my appearance which was good enough to go to the market, I nodded my head. I am ready. "Take good care of yourself, Amelie. Lock the door if necessary." "Yes, Mum
Rexton's POV. I'm crazy, now I've betrayed Matilda. I even created a new account to be able to approach Amelie slowly so that she doesn't keep wanting me to reject her as a mate. Apart from her, of course I will also feel very sad and regretful. The wolf in me will suffer greatly because of this and I don't want that to happen. Maybe now, sharing my love with other women will be better. I didn't hurt my mate or girlfriend. The smartphone in my hand is now trying to contact someone. I want to be sure of what my girlfriend is going to do tonight, I don't want to be careless. "Do you have any plans tonight, Honey?" I immediately got this question when the voice call was successfully connected. "Hm, yes." I answered. "I'm going to go meet one of Luke's mutual friends." "I also have an event tonight." I was a little surprised by his statement. "You want to go?" I tried to make sure again. "Yes, some friends asked me to meet." I nodded several times, then asked, "Should I take you
Rexton's POV. "P--please st--sto--op , d--don't ... go crazy." Her face that felt delicious, her eyes that were forced to close and her voice that was suppressed, everything about her I liked. Even though Matilda and her mother are already outside, I don't care now. In front of me there is a face waiting for the ultimate pleasure, I want to see that face feeling satisfaction. My hands didn't stop for even half a second. Even with just two hands she was overwhelmed like now. My mind is getting crazier, I want to feel again what I felt that night with her. "A--Al--pha Re--Rex--ton, y--y--you, g--crazy." Pleasure was getting to her, I could see from the look on her face and body that suddenly bounced. "Aarrgghh ...." She had reached ultimate pleasure. Her body lay limp on the messy bed. Even though I haven't received the slightest pleasure from her body, I already feel happy seeing the look on her face now. I brought my face closer again, kissing her lips when I heard the sound of
Amelie's POV. What Alpha Rexton did really endangered me. What happens if Matilda suspects me and our relationship is not good? I don't want to be enemies with my own siblings even though Matilda is not my biological sister. The woman's voice continued to echo in the room, her knocking on the door became louder because I didn't open the door for her. I straightened the clothes I was wearing, my hands ruffled my hair so that it would be clearer that I had just woken up from sleep. Yes, that's the excuse I wanted to use after opening the door. My hand grabbed the doorknob, I was a little surprised to see that Alpha Rexton was also there, not far behind mom. "What is it?" I asked, then pretended to yawn to strengthen my case. "Waking up Amelie!" The woman left and went into her room. Now I can breathe more easily because Matilda or Mama didn't ask any further questions. Matilda immediately went into the room and Mom headed to the kitchen. Meanwhile, Alpha Rexton was still standi
Amelie's POV. I tried to ignore Alpha Rexton without answering his question. Besides, he didn't dare to grip my hand tightly because Matilda was not far in front of me. I don't know how many times Alpha Rexton kept asking that question. He seemed so curious. Even so, I still chose to remain silent. What I didn't expect was that Alpha Rexton's grip became stronger, even making my footsteps stop and my body turn towards him. "Aaa ...!" Suddenly I screamed. I fell because I lost my balance, but my body didn't feel the slightest pain. When I opened my eyes, I saw a broad chest with a white t-shirt covering it. My hands were on the surface of those tempting chest. His chest made me remember the events of that crazy night with him. "What are you doing, Babe?!" "She slipped and I helped her. It didn't mean anything else." Realizing that Alpha Rexton would let go of my body in a few moments, I immediately steadied my body. I freed myself from his hands and walked ahead of Matilda an
