Melissa's Pov________When Charia and Alpha Ryder arrived from the meeting yesterday, I asked Charia about the outcome because I feared a huge argument would ensue but she said it wasn't productive and they hardly discussed anything. Charia's Pov________My heart was heavy, my spirit was down. I had never felt so worse. The result of the test done on the wolf's body was sent to us this morning and it was confirmed that it was killed by a werewolf, not a wild wolf, and Alpha Ryder's handprint was somehow found there. I knew that was not possible because, Ryder never touched the dead wolf, he only touched Delphi's mate when he threw him across the border.How they got their way in probing such a ridiculous lie was what marveled me. Anyone would do anything to destroy their enemies and this was the perfect example. I knew only Delphi's mate could frame such a lie on the report, but I was confused about how he got his hands on such an important document. It could be that Delphi or Lugard pertained to it or he did it behind their back. Charia's Pov________I sneaked out of the house the next morning without Ryder's awareness. Peter went with me cause he was the only one who was aware of what was going on and I had no choice but to bring him along, he was going to drive me anyway.I made a plan with Delphi, which should go well if she played along with everything I asked her to do. If the plan goes perfectly well, I am certain Ryder would be so glad I got involved.A date invite was sent to Dwight and he was asked to meet Delphi at a hotel. When he gets there, Delphi would call that she might be late, but he should be there waiting for her. Alpha Ryder's Pov________Restlessness. Turmoil. Uneasiness. After being in the room with some lawyers discussing the next way to prove my innocence. Charia walked up to me and randomly said she was taking a stroll which I allowed without asking where she was going.But now that I was done with my conversation, I had still not seen her. Peter wasn't around also and the car wasn't parked in the compound. I had tried each of their numbers too and no one was picking up. WRiter's Pov______Dwight, the wild wolf, and Alpha Ryder a dreadful werewolf face each other, their torsi tense and inclined to vent their primal wrath. Dwight, with its black-gray fur, stands tall and arrogant, its amber eyes locked onto the glowing, blood-red eyes of Alpha Ryder the towering werewolf.Charia in her human form moved far away from them, joining Delphi and Peter at the doorstep. She was excited and anxious to see the fight, to see her mate come to her rescue and she was delighted to see that Delphi could witness it too.Dwight's muscles trickle beneath its fur, its posture low and predatory. Chapter Sixty-nine bCharia's Pov_____The moment Delphi walked in front of Dwight to protect him from Alpha Ryder. I froze. I knew it was a lot to handle seeing that her mate was the wild wolf, but we needed to bring Dwight down by all means. We needed to handcuff him in his wolf form, we needed the evidence to be out in the open, and we needed to cast out wild wolves for the sanity of other werewolves in the city. Charia's Pov_______My eyes fluttered and I finally opened my eyes, clearing the blurry vision. I was laying on the bed and I looked around me to see I was home.
