CHAPTER-70 Father and Daughter

There was a pearly glow in the sky. The first ray of sunlight lit up the room. The dawn chorus of melodic birdsong drifted in. The rising sun cast a rosy hue across the morning sky. A ray of light was peeping through the slide-open window and fell on Aurora's eyes making her eyes blink.

She opened her eyes slowly while blinking. Her vision was blurred and saw only the white ceiling. She felt a weight on her hand. She looked down and found her mom holding her hand. She frowned in confusion.

"What is happening? Why is Mom here?" She mumbled and ran her eyes around the whole room.

When Jenny felt her movement she jolted awake and looked at her with amazement. Her eyes welled up with tears and lunged at her to hug her.

"You are finally awake." Jenny was crying but laughing at the same time. It was a happy tear seeing her daughter safe and sound.
