Chapter Twenty Two

Amanda served Elvis some food which she made herself. They ate together.

After they finished eating, they started discussing. Amanda asked Elvis what he is doing for a living.       "You have not told me what you do for a living?".

Elvis didn't see the question coming. He  thought that, since he informed her that he is poor that she would not bother asking what he does for a living. " Well, I was working as a cleaner in a restaurant but not anymore. I resigned because I was underpaid and at the same time insulted by the owner of that restaurant. I have sent my curriculum vitae to a company and I am hoping that, I will be employed soon."

Amanda said, " Don't worry everything will be alright. I will talk to my father on your behalf. He has a friend who has a big and good company. He will assist you get a job in the company."
