CHAPTER 45: LUNCH BREAK

DIONNAH'S POV

I woke up to the other side of the bed empty. The spot where Michael slept was cold. It was a couple of minutes to eight and if I didn't get up to get ready I'd be late for work. I spent fifteen minutes throwing up my intestines in the toilet bowl. I hated this morning sickness. I quickly took a shower and got ready for work. To my surprise, Dani was alone in the kitchen.

“Morning Dani," I greeted. “Where are the guys?"

“Morning. They went to the office early," she poured me some tea. “Jesus Dee, you look terrible. Come sit," she gestured to one of the chairs around the table. I sat, my head felt light and my feet felt heavy. “Are you feeling good? Can you work today?"

“I'm fine Dani. This is how I feel most mornings but my energy levels go sky high as the day rolls on."

“Ah, I gotcha."

“Did Michael say anything?"

“Yes. He says to tell you he loves you and he'll see you later."

“Oh."
