Third person's POV
Vanessa got home sooner than she expected. She had planned to stop by the home of the Austin family but time was not on her side, it was almost six o'clock.
She arrived home to meet an empty house as usual. It was not empty literally, but it lacked the parental love and attention she believed was due to her. Most times, her parents were too busy with their work to bother about her. In fairness to them, they loved their daughter a lot but they just did not know how to show it.
She went upstairs to her room on the first floor. She had a lot of homework to do before the next day but she needed to make a certain call first.

Kimberly's POVI was too scared to step a foot in the cafeteria. After my sufferings of the day before, I didn't think entering that place was in my best interests. Yes, I hadn't gone to the cafeteria the day before, but I was prepared to starve instead of going there.For some reason, everybody had ignored me since I came to school that day. Anna's POVI gave my parents a deadly glare. "We are so sorry you had to spend your afternoon with those two," my mom said while giving me a hug after we made sure Carly and her brother were gone. I glared at them some more. Carly had insisted on staying in my room until I had to drag her out. By dragging her out, I mean taking her by the arm and literally pulling her away. She sat down on my bed and held on to the frame. I just pulled her some more until she landed on the floor and dragged her out of my room. I then locked it to make sure she didn't go back. Anna's POVI woke up with a start. What the hell was that about? It was a dream alright but it felt so real. Too real if you ask me. I checked the time to see that it was three minutes past two in the morning. Great. There went the little sleep I could gather for the night. Colton's POVThe game was so great. It felt nice to be on the field again. We hadn't had a single match in the last three months and my body had begun to itch for some ball action so you can imagine how happy I was to hear that Starlights wanted to settle their scores with us.After talking to Annabelle, I went to the locker room to take a shower and change back into my uniform - unfortunately. I wondered why she wasn't sitting with Vanessa and Brooke at the bleachers. Actually, during the match, I was looking among the crowd for them. I saw the other two but to my surprise, Annabelle was not with them. The first thought that came to my mind was that she didn't like football and probably left.I was about turning back into the pitch when on second thoughts, I searched for her again. If I was playing, I knew she would stay to cheer me on because left for her, our school could lose and she wouln't even care.
