7. Are We The Same?

Aranjo spent his days in the small pavilion, playing by herself while her nanny had to help out at the main residence.

Aranjo, whose face is partially covered with a black veil, sits on the floor of the pavilion and plays with her favorite worn rag doll. This rag doll was sewn by Ara, the nanny herself.

'Kriiitt'

The pavilion door opened slowly, Aranjo stared at the door to see who was coming. Aranjo smiled happily when she saw who opened the door.

Her two sisters visited the pavilion to see her. This was their first visit to the Pavilion. Previously, they had always avoided accidentally meeting her at the main residence.

Aranjo looked in amazement at her two sisters. Her two sisters are very beautiful in beautiful dressing gowns, the exact opposite of her. Aranjo's clothes are only a few pieces and they are all sewn by Ara from the leftover fabric obtained from the main residence.

"Let's play ...." said one of her sisters.

The two sisters each hold beautiful and luxurious dolls. Aranjo was very happy that her two sisters came to invite her to play.

"Sure!" said Aranjo happily.

Halley and Helene looked at each other and smiled meaningfully. Then, when Halley throws the doll in front of Aranjo, the doll's head comes off. Helene ran out of the pavilion leaving them both and Halley began to cry.

Aranjo did not understand what her two sisters were doing. She just sat quietly in her place while hugging her old doll.

Not long after, the Wind Goddess rushed into the Pavilion. Ara followed the wind Goddess back to the pavilion, her heart was very uneasy and felt that something bad would happen to Aranjo.

Halley ran to hug her mother, and wept bitterly as she said, "Mother ... Aranjo snatched and ruined my doll!"

"Yes, Mom. I saw her snatch the doll from Halley!" Helene said, holding her mother's skirt.

Ara approached Aranjo and hugged her tightly, she knew clearly the evil intentions of her two sisters. Aranjo never touches anything that doesn't belong to her, no matter how good it is.

"You ... son of the devil! How dare you touch my daughter's belongings! You must be taught a lesson so that later you do not dare repeat it again!" said the Goddess of Wind in a thunderous voice.

She didn't even want to bother hearing the explanation from the child, her hatred was very deep and this was the right opportunity to punish the demon child.

"Madam ... please ...." Ara has not finished pleading, she has been silenced by the magic power of the wind Goddess.

Then the Wind Goddess put her magic on Aranjo, saying "reflect on your mistakes in the mist forest tonight!"

Then the mother and son walked out of the pavilion. Aranjo felt that her hands could not be moved and her bare feet walked out of the pavilion on their own.

The magic that silenced Ara was unleashed when the wind Goddess came out of the pavilion, but there was nothing Ara could do against the magic that bound Aranjo. Ara was about to chase Aranjo and accompany the boy to the fog forest.

However, Ara could not get out of the Pavilion. The Wind Goddess knew clearly that Ara would definitely accompany the demon child, so the wind Goddess installed a barrier that Ara could not pass through.

Aranjo walked out of the pavilion, I don't know how long she had been walking.

Her feet hurt from walking barefoot, but she could not stop her steps. Of course, Aranjo could not release the magic of the Wind Goddess who had taken possession of her body.

Aranjo walked quite a distance, the fog forest was a forest in the sky realm. The forest is inhabited by creatures that do not deserve to live in the realm of heaven and they are trapped there unable to enter or exit the forest.

The forest was always avoided by the gods and Goddesses of the celestial realm, the forest was a dump. For that reason, the Goddess of the Wind sent Aranjo there hoping that the demon child would stay there and never return to her residence again.

Aranjo feels tired and thirsty, her magic level is still very low and she can still quickly feel hungry and thirsty. Unlike her two sisters who always receive magic power from their parents, Aranjo can only increase her magic power by practicing with Ara, and while Ara's magic ability is limited, Aranjo is grateful that someone taught her magic.

Aranjo walks into the misty forest. As the name implies, this forest is shrouded in thick fog although the name of the forest implies that only a few plants grow in it. Aranjo's little feet were full of rocks and the entrance to the forest was full of them.

Aranjo walked for a very long time and finally her feet stopped when she was in the middle of the forest. Aranjo sat on the rocky ground and caught her breath. After catching his breath, Aranjo looked around the forest to see if there was any fruit she could eat.

But the plants that grow in this forest have never been seen and do not have fruit only large stems and dense leaves. This forest is quite dark because of the thick fog blocking the sunlight, and this forest is very cold. One thing is for sure, Aranjo does not feel afraid at all and she can see clearly in this dark forest.

Finally, Aranjo stopped looking around, herself still sitting on the ground. Aranjo bends both knees of the legs and embraces them.

Aranjo rethinks what just happened. All this time, she always tried to think that she was the same as her two sisters. Maybe her parents were too busy to take care of her.

Although treated differently, Aranjo still tries to smile and not cry. Aranjo doesn't want to make Ara worry about herself.

But what happened just now seemed to open Aranjo's eyes wide. Her two sisters clearly framed her and their mother did not even ask for an explanation from her. That means she's not liked.

Aranjo often heard servants whispering about her, saying she was the daughter of the devil as her mother had said. If she was the son of Satan, why did she stay in the heavenly realm and be treated like this? Aranjo said in her heart.

Aranjo's attention was diverted towards the front, Aranjo saw that something was moving there.

Aranjo who was still exhausted crawled towards it and saw a small colorful bird chuckling there. With her two tiny hands, Aranjo slowly lifted the little bird and saw what happened.

The wings of the little bird seemed to be injured and the feathers of the bird looked wet. Aranjo's clothes were so thin that they didn't have any more fabric, so Aranjo took off his veil and used the Black Veil to wrap the little bird hoping that it would be warm. There was no one in this forest, so it didn't matter if she didn't wear a veil.

"Where are your parents?" asked Aranjo while gently stroking the little bird's head.

"Are we the same? Don't your parents want you too?"

"Is that why you were also banished to this forest?" said Aranjo.

And this is the first time Aranjo cried, she felt very sad. Why was she treated this way? Aranjo always tries to be a good (and not troublesome) child. But just because she is the daughter of the devil, all her good deeds are not considered.
