Diego had hung up the phone without any hesitation. He had already had a hunch of who had told Stephanie about Gabriella, he just wanted to be sure.

Right from their elementary school all the way to middle school to high school, Stephanie had always put Leon in trouble. None of them knew why but Leon was always taking the fall for her either intentionally or unintentionally.

Neither of the boys could understand whether it was Leon who was the extremely stupid one and couldn't smell trouble when he saw one or

Stephanie was the extremely smart and coy one. They all never understood.

Diego was really mortified to realize that even after they had grown up, Stephanie would still use Leon to her advantage. A lot of times, he never really knew what was going on in Leon's head.
