Chapter 28

Gabriella walked into the ward while wearing a huge smile, the younger boy on the bed glaring up at her with blank eyes.

"Yoo....How are you?" Gabriella cooed as soon as she stepped inside the ward.

"Oh, so all of a sudden, you now remember that you have a younger brother?" Alex asked as Gabriella wore a guilty expression.

'I'm sorry, okay. I'm really sorry"

Gabriella tried to apologize while Alex shook his head and sighed.

"You do this all the time now so It's not even a big deal" Alex replied as

Gabriella swallowed her saliva and dropped the bag of snacks on the table before walking to the cushion. She laid down on the cushion while staring at the ceiling.

She was scared to go to an empty house again or better still sleep alone. She had decided earlier to sleep in Alex's ward and go home early the next morning, that way whatever time Diego was going to leave the house she was going to see him. He didn't have to say anything to her; she just wanted to see him.
