THIRTY

The thumping sound of music filled Lorenzo's ears from the moment he decided to enter the club and drink as much as he can to forget his sadness about Selena. Already ten times Lorenzo had asked the bartender to give him a brandy so he would get drunk and no longer imagine Selena waiting anxiously for him at home. Now Lorenzo was starting to feel the effects of the brandy which had affected his mind until now his head was spinning and dizzy. In an indistinct voice, Lorenzo asked the bartender to give him another eleventh brandy. To hell with his drunken state, all he wanted today was to let go of the image of Selena that hurt him.

"Give me one more shot." asked Lorenzo in an indistinct voice. At the same time Lorenzo's head fell on the table as the effect of the brandy began to work on his light body. Lorenzo fell asleep imagining Selena's smiling face in his head.
