Chapter 91

Sam's POV

My hands trembled as I picked the paper on the floor. It was a note with something written inside.

"What does it say?" a terrified Morris asked from the side.

I glanced through the short note quickly with my mouth wide open.

"What does it say!?" Morris asked again.

I could not say a word and stood still with the paper in my hands. He snatched it out of my hands and read the content quickly.

"She is the one. She came in here last night to drop this." he exclaimed.

"Why is there so much noise here this morning?" a sleepy voice from inside the open cell said, yawning.

I was so shaken with fear that I forgot that the prison door was still open.

I picked the padlock and locked the cell quickly as they were not fully awake and aware that the door was open.

"What would I have done if everyone escaped?" I mumbled with a stifled breath as I made sure the padlock was locked well.

We moved away further from the cell to where nobody would hear us.
