Matteo's POV

I sat impatiently on the armchair, waiting for Aurora to come downstairs with her luggage. It was late afternoon already and my pilot had been waiting for me for minutes.

It wasn't like he would complain, but I hated wasting people's time since they didn't do the same to me.

She came downstairs finally, her auburn hair drooping around her shoulder wildly. She smiled at me as she dragged her box in one hand and held a duffel bag in the other.

"I'm sorry for making you wait, but I had to finish with the last minute packing." She apologised in a sing-song tone, smiling sweetly.

Ever since I allowed her to participate in the competition, she had become very bubbly and less reserved. There was a spark in her eyes each time she served us during breakfast or dinner, and it made me happy if I was being honest.

"You ladies are fond of it. Let's go." I replied and helped her with the box.
