CHAPTER 22: She Should Never Know That

I was just leaning against the side of my car door while waiting for Cindy. She just bought something at the drug store, and I didn't even accompany her inside. It happened that I saw a shop, so I got out of the car and looked.

But a few minutes passed, and Cindy still wasn't there. My forehead is already wrinkled because she didn't tell me that she would be there for a long time. I straightened up and took a deep breath.

I just decided to follow her inside.

"Good morning, Ma'am," the guard greeted me at the entrance of the drug store.

I just smiled and went straight inside. I frowned when I noticed that there weren't many people, so it was impossible for Cindy to stay long. I stepped forward to check the place, but she was not there. I immediately approached the guard who had greeted me earlier.

"Sir, have you seen a woman wearing a mint green dress? She's a little smaller than me. She's beautiful. Mestiza." I'm still describing Cindy.
