CHAPTER 27: Search For Her Father

"GO AHEAD. Eat more," I said and placed a ladle of dishes on him. When I did that, I inhaled deeply. It's something I don't typically do. I detest how awkward I am behaving.

Several days have passed and we are, once more, here in the dining area. I cooked for him again since I wanted to ask for something. I didn't have the chance to tell him last time because Aces needed him that time. So I want to try my luck again. Hoping that he'll give it.

Despite my anxiety, I want to tell him something. I say this because I'm uncertain if he will grant my request. He may or may not like it, I'm not sure. For me, it won't be a huge problem even though this will be the first time I've asked him for a favor. Because he begged for my presence in his life, it is the least he can do.

Still, I'm at a loss for words. Something kept me from speaking, even though I wanted to. I'm sure I'll insist nonetheless, though. I really don't want our misunderstanding to stem from this.
