Chapter 35: Peace Was Never An Option

It's been six months since the whole return from the underworld saga. In that six months Rogue experienced the joys and the downs of being a father, Aqiel was a fussy little girl who always bore a mischievous side to her, whenever Lucifer left her side she would cry and trash about becoming a bit restless. She literally hated him, or so he thought since she kept crying whenever he held her. 

In those six months they had relocated to Tokyo since Rogue found a job as a tutor in one of the prestigious schools in the main city, he and Lucifer lived in a simple two storey house and tackled the daily challenges of being parents, plus they were expecting another one soon.

Rogue sighed as he placed his coffee cup on the table besides the headlamp which was on, he was grading papers from the mock quiz he gave his class and to be honest they weren't all that bad. Lucifer came up to him after putting Aqiel to bed and hugged him from behind.

“Rough day at work?”
