When the demon disguised as Summer entered the Luminous Pack grounds, the protective barrier weakened greatly. As she had claimed to have a blood bond with Lucifer, Mtungagore hesitated to kill her. They feared that once Lucifer felt the blood bond snapping, he would then kill Summer. However, keeping her alive, though restrained, was a huge blunder.
In the wee hours of the day, a week after Summer was abducted and Michael regained consciousness, the vampires and witches attacked the wolves.
Thankfully, alpha Luke and his twin brother warrior Levi, had insisted on the warriors patrolling, irrespective of the fact that, Summer had put up a protective barrier. Hence, they were able to react quick when they noticed the enemy approaching.

A new ability in him was born.However, after the witches and the few remaining vampires retreated, the wolves had no time to celebrate.
