Third person’s POV

“I didn't have my ID on me.” Betty reluctantly said. It was hard telling a stranger why she was disgraced.

Nick nodded in amusement. “And here I was thinking it was for another reason. You didn’t deny it when I said you are an important person. Perhaps the daughter of Daxine Wood?”

Betty squirmed as she tried to control her emotions. “Like I said earlier. I don’t know what you are talking about.”

“If so, tell me how you know that man’s name. Secondly why were they all acting suspicious? Security seems tighter than before.” He shrugged innocently.

This raised Betty’s guard. “Who are you to ask me these things? Don’t think because I choose to stay here..”

“You don’t want them to see you. Don’t be ridiculous.” Nick scoffed in mockery. She was hiding something and he knew. “Tell me, why are you miserable?”

Betty sighed. “This is not how I look on a normal day.”

Nick chuckled. “Yeah, yeah. I know.”
