After everything we said about not doing any chores at the camp, we found ourselves picking firewood and doing dishes. All it had to take was that damned Gamma to shift and threaten us with his wolf. Racheal peed on herself, and Kira wanted to jump out of me. If it were just the arsehole, maybe we won't be so scared, but seeing his wolf and knowing we were surrounded by them made us respect our position.

"I can't believe we are doing this, Kira," I grumbled to my wolf while wiping the plates we had to wash in a basin because we were in a camp.

"You brought this upon us, Ruby. Why didn't you just let those men follow us? We would have stood a chance now, look," she said and growled in my head. Racheal was already crying.

"I shouldn't have left home, Rub. This is all my fault." She said, putting the bucket of water she was made to fetch from a stream close by, accompanied by an escort.

"Now she knows," Kira growled.

"Calm down, Kira," I told my wolf, but she won't have it.
