Chapter 40

Isabella's POV.

I glared at the two guards who were standing like statues watching every move that I made. They were like hawks and that annoyed me. Fury ate up my soul, and Rodrigo has subjected me to some tiny thing. I couldn't eat or breathe. What pissed me off was that I had to Live through all of this by his side as his wife.

"Are you going to continue Standing there? It is really annoying you know"

"We are just following order Ma'am"

"You are out of your minds, both you and your foolish boss Rodrigo"

They didn't say anything, they were only surprised that I had thrown an Insult at their boss. I was angry that he ordered that I wasn't allowed to leave the house. How could he give such an outrageous order when all I wanted was to know how my friend Jennifer was doing. He wouldn't let me use the telephone, took away my mobile phone and now he was stopping me from reaching Jennifer.

I wanted to see her, she was the only way that I could make contact with Maxwell, it had to be Jenni
