Leah finally looked our way again. I let out a sigh. She had cried so much in the past few hours that her eyes were now puffy and red. I hated that freak for what she did to Leah. Thank goddess her plans failed and the boy is still alive.

“You saw her, didn’t you?”

I nodded.

“The lady with a short bob and a visible mole. She was the one that pushed him.”

I told them. She let out a gasp after my revelation.

“Why Leah?”

Bernardo asked her. Leah started crying again and her husband pulled her to himself.

“I let her into my house and she nearly killed my son. I am such a fool for letting her anywhere near my house.”

She cried.

“What do you mean? Who is she?”

Bernardo asked. He seemed to be the only one who could ask all the questions because Beta Ryan was too focused on consoling his wife and I didn’t even know what to say.

“She’s Edna Moore, Theo’s ex-girlfriend.”

Leah said. At the mention of Theo, even the beta let go of her for a moment.

“What?”

Beta Ryan yelled. I was e
