Chapter TWENTY ONE

Anais walked to the couch and lay down.

She had spent several nice nights with Atlas here, watching a movie or the news.

Anais liked that she could lay on it and be comfortable because it was so long. She stretched out and turned on the television. She watched a few shows and flipped through the hundreds of channels that Atlas had.

Anais made herself some lunch and ate outside on the terrace. She had discovered this piece of heaven the other day. It was a warm day and Atlas had wind guards in place to make sure that everything stayed where it should stay and that it was comfortable. There were couches and tables and there was a bar with seating under an overhang with a TV.

It was Anais’s favorite spot in the entire place. She ended up eating out there and then read a book she found on the shelf.

She fell asleep for a while and woke up when it was late in the afternoon. She stretched and smiled. She felt good.
