As I lay in the hospital bed, still feeling weak and vulnerable after the attack, my mind raced with questions. Noah, sitting beside me, seemed lost in his own thoughts, his brows furrowed with concern.

"Hey, Noah," I began tentatively, breaking the silence that enveloped us. "Do you think... Do you think my attack could be connected to that threatening message I received a few weeks ago?"

Noah's expression grew pensive as he considered my question. His gaze shifted from me to some distant point beyond the hospital room walls, as if searching for answers in the ether.

"It's possible," he finally replied, his voice tinged with uncertainty. "Whoever sent that message clearly didn't have good intentions towards us."

I nodded, the gravity of his words sinking in. The thought that someone out there harbored such animosity towards us sent shivers down my spine. It was a chilling reminder of the dangers that lurked in the shadows, waiting to strike when we least expected it.
