Trying my best not to think about anything right now, but Mia was not helping because she kept looking at me with a sad expression on her face.

'' Stop looking at me like that,'' I mumbled.

'' I am just worried about you, a lot has happened in your life that would make any sane woman go mad.'' Mia let out.

'' I am fine,'' I said, but I knew that was not the truth.

'' I know that you are not fine, you don't have to lie to me,'' Mia let out and I breathed out heavily, drifting my attention to her again.

'' You are right, I am not fine, and I don't think I will ever be fine for a very long time. I didn't think it would be so hard leaving him,'' I said.

'' We are not far from the house, we can go back, and you two can settle whatever it is between you both,'' Mia let out and I could see that she still didn't understand.

'' I can't. I have made up my mind, it is over. Mia,'' I let out.

I soon instructed the driver to take us back to our apartment.
