Chapter 12: Forget Me Not!

After twenty minutes of travel, Jack finally arrived at the Voyager Resto Bar, owned and managed by Anthony Smith, Jack's best friend since their college days.

He parked his car in the parking area and entered the establishment. The restaurant isn't crowded yet because it's morning and everyone is holed up and working in their offices.

The three-story building had a restaurant on the first floor, a bar on the second floor, and a living space for Anthony and his live-in girlfriend Amy on the third floor. Amy is currently in the United Kingdom visiting her family.

Jack found his friend in the kitchen. "Bro, I'm back!"

Anthony looked at Jack and smiled broadly. "You've finally arrived, bro! Let's head to the bar upstairs," he said, removing his apron and hanging it on the wall near the kitchen door.
