Chapter 13: Foreplay

After a few minutes of travel time, Briana finally arrived at the compound, followed by Jack's car. She emerged from her car and looked at Jack exiting his, carrying a beautiful bouquet in his hand.

"Hi babe, flowers for you!" he said and handed the bouquet to her.

Briana looked at the flower with appreciation. "Thank you, let's go inside," she said, her fingers trembling with anticipation as she inserted the house key into the doorknob.

He stood beside her, and she could feel his breath fanning her face.

"I miss you, babe," he whispered.

Briana can't help but smile upon hearing his confession. "We just saw each other in the morning," she reminded him.

Jack grinned. "I can't wait to devour you tonight," he said huskily.

She glared at him and said, "Behave!"

Jack grinned mischievously and pinched her nose playfully.

They went inside the house.
