Jade could not understand what Max was up to. She knew that what happened between them in the past was because Max was who he was, but he was a different person, so, she thought he had given up on that life.

She walked into her room, closed the door and sighed," Max isn't helping me. I have very strong urges which I can't explain, and the last thing I need is for him to wake up unnecessary memories."

Meanwhile, in his room, Max regretted what he had done.

"How could you be so irresponsible, Max?" He asked himself. "Do not forget Stacy; remember you promised her that you're a changed man and you're going to do right by her."

He made up his mind that he would not let anything of that sort happen again.

After that night, Jade noticed that he no longer looked her in the eyes like he always did but he was still nice and caring. Before going to work in the morning, he would stop by her room to make sure she was okay and had eaten breakfast. If she hadn't, he would call her maid and tell her
