Chapter 18 Check-up

The people around were surprised by Elsie’s actions. Who would donate blood for her husband’s fiancée who was on a brink on death to keep her alive? They weren’t the only ones, Oswald looked in the way of Elsie and he thought of how cruel he had been to Elsie because of his thoughts that she was the culprit. She never blamed him or accused him of anything but held onto him, serving him and his family as well without any complains.

Oswald kept looking at Elsie which caught her attention. She looked back at him and sneered, because she knew at the moment that Oswald might be regretting his actions. She was her lifesaver but she was considered the culprit, she found it sarcastic and so, she said to him,

“We shouldn’t be blinded by our love for our close ones. That when they are doing the wrong thing, we wouldn’t see when it’s obvious. Today, I admit that you love Tess very much just as her parents do that you would believe her every words.”
