Chapter 13

A firery redhead woman marched across the busy streets of Manhattan, a willed expression on her face. She resembled something out of a comic book, a grandma that no naughty child wanted to encounter.

The woman beside her, an equally firery but a dark haired woman marched along with her, their steps echoing on the pebbles ground as people made way for these two short women to pass.

Their faces held nothing but disdain and determination to get to the root of whatever matter they had in mind.

The older woman, Lauryn O'Hagan had gone for more than five weeks without hearing from or seeing her grandbabies and all her efforts to reach out to them was abortive, the same goes for her other child, Bridget O'Hagan.

Freya had been lost for a total of five months and her mother and sister did everything within their power to find her but very little was within their power but they kept trying, while insisting on taking care of her kids, despite the kids having a living father, whom the women knew
