"DO YOU think those Veradates will answer you?" he questioned and he has a point given that they were our enemy once, still are.

I cannot name someone that dumb to tell an enemy with their concern that easy without any means of getting something in return.

And that made me more furious.

"If anyone would not tell me then I will use force, Matias,"  I said firmly as I imagined my sword aimed at Dardo's neck.

He just smirked at me sarcastically and said, "And you think that you will not be harmed when you go to their territory alone? Stay here and let us think of a plan to know who our new enemies are."

I grunted at him and shove the hand that was stalling me from walking away but he returned it there almost immediately with a stronger grip. He knew that I would never obey what he said so he would not let me go at this point.

My eyes sharpened at him but he just gave it back to me with the same intensity so I gave it up and closed my eyes,
